Ontario Prevention Report 2019

This function reports on preventions based on criteria selected

Select the criteria that you want to deal with when creating a report template then save.

  1. Which patients (age gender and roster status)
  2. How to calculate percentages
    • Which measurements (if any)
    • Which billing codes (tracking and exclusion if any)
    • Which preventions from the Preventions Module

The above example is looking for people over 65 when the report is run who have a RO rostered status who have 1 Flu prevention before Apr 1, 2020 provided up to 8 months prior (AKA the 2019-2020 flu season)

When run (Submit) against a provider the report will go through every patient in the database to determine if they meet criteria.  It isn’t particularly resource intensive but as it builds the array one demographic at a time allow about a minute for every thousand patients on the system.

When done a display will show with the criterea used at the top and then a chart with total patients and a % up to date followed by a list of demographics.  Hmm looks like only John A McDonald has has his shot and its time to call in William McKenzie King, Louis St Laurent and R.B. Bennett.
