Epworth Sleepiness Scale

The Epworth Sleepiness Scale is widely used in the field of sleep medicine as a subjective measure of a patient's sleepiness. The test is a list of eight situations in which the patient rates their tendency to become sleepy on a scale of 0 (no chance of dozing) to 3 (high chance of dozing). The results estimate whether the patient is experiencing excessive sleepiness that possibly requires further medical intervention.

The "ESS_SIMPLE" version does not require any additional configuration in OSCAR (eForm named Epworth Sleepiness Scale).

The "ESS_CALCULATOR" is a more advanced 'automated' calculator version (eForm called Epworth Sleep Scale) which requires the "ESS" measurement:

type="ESS" typeDesc="ESS" typeDisplayName="Epworth Sleepiness Scale" measuringInstrc=""

If unsure how to create this measurement, ask your OSP.
